Mr. Wolf is a graduate of Cornell University, (B.A., 1988) and The University of Connecticut, (J.D. with honors, 1992), where he received The American Jurisprudence Award for Contracts, as well as The American Bar Association Award for excellence in the Study of Land Use and Local Government. He was associated with the AV Preeminent* rated law firm of Cohen & Wolf P.C., a firm of 50+ attorneys, from 1992 to 1995, where he excelled in the practice of commercial and real estate litigation. From 1995 to 1996, he was the Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge John A. Criswell, of the Colorado Court of Appeals. Daniel Wolf went on to be associated with yet another AV Preeminent* rated firm, Clanahan, Tanner, Downing & Knowlton, P.C., in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Wolf’s emphasis remained in commercial and real estate litigation. Since 1999, he has had his law office in Vail and Summit County and has practiced law throughout the mountain region in the areas of real estate, business and commercial law, and community association law. From 2001 through 2011, Mr. Wolf was the founder and managing shareholder of the law firm of Wolf & Associates, P.C. which had offices in Vail and Frisco. In 2011, he joined Mountain Law Group and heads its Vail and Frisco offices. He is a member of the Continental Divide, Colorado, and American Bar Associations.

Represented Vail condominium association in connection with all aspects of a $40M redevelopment from inception to completion. Representation included drafting and overseeing adoption of necessary condo declaration amendments; documenting and facilitating conveyance of development air rights for new condo units; drafting and negotiating letter of intent and development agreement with developer; drafting and negotiating access and other agreements with adjoining property owners; and addressing a range of construction and other issues.
Represented largest physician group in Summit County with multiple offices in connection with sale of practice to large national health care provider including negotiating individual agreement for physicians and office lease.
Represented Colorado bank in connection the $33M construction and redevelopment loan for total redevelopment of Vail condominium project, including preparation and negotiation of loan documents, and new condominium documents.
Represented distressed golf course community association after bankruptcy of developer with significant receivable issues. Resolved over 30 persistent delinquent accounts through foreclosure or otherwise.
Represented conservation developer in connection with acquisition and placement of conservations easements on thousands of acres of ranch properties primarily in Gunnison and Rio Grande Counties.
Represented association for large slope-side Beaver Creek fractional condominium project in association’s disputed termination of luxury international hotel company that developed project as management company and transition to new management company.
